Connections has been providing an alternative to the mainstream news since August, 1986. Connections, a 20-page tabloid newspaper, is published 10 times a year and distributed throughout San Joaquin County and beyond. It covers a broad range of issues related to peace, justice, and a healthy environment with special emphasis on local news and events. The deadline for each publication in the 7th of the previous month. Please use the contact form to submit articles or email your article to our editor by that date. Connections is produced entirely by a staff of dedicated volunteers. You can view download and view past articles on this page.
Due to the COVID-19, Connections has suspended physical production of our newspaper for the the first time since inception. An online version is being developed at http://sjconnections.news. We hope you visit and take part in that effort going forward.
